Planting Instructions

Tree Planting:

1. Dig a hole 2-3 times the width of the container and only as deep as the height of the rootball.
2. Set rootball just above ground level (approximately1").
3. Do NOT mix any amendments into the native soil.  Carefully place the native soil around the rootball, gently tamping it down with a shovel end or your foot as you backfill to remove air pockets, being careful not to step directly on the rootball as it may damage the roots.
4. Do not cover the top of the rootball with soil so that water can penetrate it.
5. Build basin around outside of rootball and water thoroughly.
