Description

This beautiful deciduous tree quickly reaches 50' tall and 20' wide. It has a narrow columnar form and is great for small gardens with limited vertical space. Leaves are bright green in summer, turning to orange or red in fall. More acid soil will give a brilliant display of fall color. This tree prefers well draining, rich soil. Do not plant in windy areas as it is prone to breakage. Red flowers appear in late winter/early spring followed by green fruit that turn reddish brown and drop in early summer.
