Description

This beautiful evergreen tree quickly reaches 25'-30' tall. Leaves are glossy and pointed. Bark is smooth and gray colored but will scar easily. When the tree is mature, it produces small black figs that birds enjoy. It will also produce aerial roots that when they reach the ground, will take root. This tree is used extensively for bonsai thus it can be grown indoors. It is used as a street tree or park tree. It needs moderate water with soil dry between waterings.
