Description

This dependable hardy shrub is used as a groundcover or lawn substitute. It reaches 1.5'-2' tall and spreads 7'-9' wide. It prefers full sun and will tolerate coastal conditions. New foliage is needle-like, maturing to blue green, aromatic scales. It is great for difficult hillsides to control erosions. It is drought tolerant once it's established. It is also used for bonsai and rock gardens.

Water Saving Tip:

Check your irrigation controller once a month, and adjust as necessary.

Most plants require only one-third as much water in winter as they do in summer.
