Description

This palm-like plant is highlighted by long, narrow, stiff, blue-green leaves. It has a short trunk but no leaves off of it. It prefers partial shade. It reaches 10' tall and wide but can be kept smaller if grown in container. This exotic beauty has fragrant white flowers that bloom in late spring. It can be grown as a houseplant as long as it gets enough light, or close to the pool for a tropical effect. Fertilize in winter. Once established, it needs occasional watering.
