Description

This grass can reach 1'-2' tall and has green leaves that are reddish-maroon at the tips. It needs a moderate amount of water. It spreads by underground runners so consider planting in containers or areas where it can be controlled. When 'Rubra' is backlit, it is spectacular.

Water Saving Tip:

Replace turf with groundcovers, trees, and shrubs. If you have areas where no one uses the grass, patches that do not grow well, or a turf area too small to water without runoff, consider replacing the turf with water-efficient landscaping.
