Description

This relatively small tree will grow 15' tall and 20' wide. It produces red flowers that bloom in the summer and attract hummingbirds. The red-orange, edible fruit appears in fall. This variety does better in warm inland valleys as 'Wonderful' needs heat to produce fruit. It can be pruned to a shrub size but watch out for thorns. Use as a security barrier. It prefers full sun and regular watering, more in hot summer areas.
