Sequoiadendron gigantea 'Pendula' |
+ Add |
Weeping Giant Sequoia, Big Tree |
This unusual, slow-growing shrub produces dense, bright green to blue-green foliage of an awl shape, reaching up to 25' and 3'-4' wide. It generally has a narrow column with long branches that hang almost parallel to the trunk. The leader is long and straight, and is prickly to the touch. This shrub does not stump sprout. It may need to be staked in order to maintain a desired habit. It prefers full sun and medium watering, more during hot summer days.
