Description

The 'Capital' assumes a columnar form with thick, glossy green leaves that change from a red to a purple color in the fall. White flowers are borne in the spring. It reaches a size of 40' tall and 15' wide, and is good tree where space is limited. Small red ornamental fruit appear in winter. It prefers full sun and regular watering, more in hot summer areas.
