This small, deciduous tree/ large shrub reaches 10'-15' tall with foliage that is 2" long and slender, silver-gray in color. It is excellent for difficult climates with extreme temperatures. Because it has thorns, it makes a natural privacy barrier. Birds love Russian Olive! Faintly yellow or creamy white, tiny fragrant flowers bloom in spring. It tolerates drought conditions. Do not plant near riparian areas.
