Description

This open evergreen shrub grows to 6'-12' tall and 4" wide. Flowers are dark purple. It requires heavy pruning, and should be grown in sun with little or no summer watering when established. The 'Monterey Bay' grows best with little rain, but will tolerate relatively heavy soils if summer watering is infrequent. This plant will be severely damaged by temperatures between 20-25 degrees F. It is great for hot and dry areas. -Monterey Bay Nursery

Water Saving Tip:

Apply as little fertilizer as possible.

If you use fertilizer make sure it stays on the landscape, and carefully water it in so there is NO runoff.
