Description

Upright tree with weeping habit that can grow to 25'-30' tall and wide. Blooms in spring with creamy-white flower clusters followed by long, narrow beans in summer. Texas Mesquite usually becomes a multi-trunked tree with a large spreading crown. Foliage is bright green, narrow and feathery looking. Troubled by scale, mistletoe and rabbits. It is invasive to drainage and sewer lines.
