Description

This hardy perennial has a relaxed sprawling form that tolerates desert heat and drought. Small, cup-shaped, orange, pink or lavender flowers appear in spring. Foliage is gray green, lobed, tiny and covered with irritating hairs. Prune after flowering to keep the plant from getting rangy. Supplemental watering will increase flowering. Wear gloves when pruning.

Water Saving Tip:

Replace turf with groundcovers, trees, and shrubs. If you have areas where no one uses the grass, patches that do not grow well, or a turf area too small to water without runoff, consider replacing the turf with water-efficient landscaping.
