Description

This beauitful perennial reaches about 2' tall, with long strappy grass-like foliage most of year. Trumpet shaped flowers bloom in spring and summer, lasting only 1 day. Flowers are pale yellow with an intense orange eye zone. Cut foliage in fall to refresh. Will bloom more if soil is amended with compost and mulched to retain moisture. Plant in full sun. It needs medium amount of watering and extra during hot summer months.

Water Saving Tip:

Replace turf with groundcovers, trees, and shrubs. If you have areas where no one uses the grass, patches that do not grow well, or a turf area too small to water without runoff, consider replacing the turf with water-efficient landscaping.
