Cornus florida 'Pink |
+ Add |
Eastern Dogwood |
This beautiful deciduous tree prefers well draining, acidic, moist soil. In spring, pink flowers cover this tree. Oval green foliage turns red or purple in fall, with red winter berries. A tree for all seasons! It is not heat tolerant so plant in areas where it can receive afternoon shade in warm inland valleys. Roots need to be kept cool and moist so mulch well. 'Pink' reaches 20' tall and wide.
