Description

A large deciduous tree that can reach 30'-50' slowly, Littleleaf Linden creates a dense pyramid that can be used as a screen, then becoming rounded with age. Creamy yellow flowers bloom in summer, attracting bees. New foliage is light green, maturing to dark green, and somewhat glossy. Leaves flutter in breeze. Small round, light green nuts appear in fall, then maturing to tan in winter.

Water Saving Tip:

Replace turf with groundcovers, trees, and shrubs. If you have areas where no one uses the grass, patches that do not grow well, or a turf area too small to water without runoff, consider replacing the turf with water-efficient landscaping.
