Description

These unusual perennials bloom from mid-summer through fall with deep blue, bulb-shaped buds that open into star-like cups. Plants emerge in late spring, and should be placed in full sun with average, well-drained soil. Overall growth is 3' tall. While the plant is reliable and requires low maintenance, it resents transplanting once it it established. -Holland Wildflower Farm

Water Saving Tip:

Change spray sprinklers to low-flow bubbler or drip systems. Shrubs and trees are ideal candidates for this type of irrigation because the water is applied directly to the root zones.
