Description

This evergreen shrub quickly 10'- 15' tall and wide. New foliage is silvery, changing to olive green dotted with silver scales. It is armed with spines, thus good for hedges or dense barriers. Fragrant, small, creamy colored flowers appear in fall, followed by brownish red fruit. Can be sheared; tolerates heat and wind. It is drought tolerant once it's established. It tolerates ocean spray.
